Assi el Hadath Book

‘Asi-l-Hadath Lebanon: History of a Grotto, written by Fady Baroudi, Boulos Khawaja, Abdo Badawi and Joseph Moukarzel, is the most important documented book about Assi el Hadath great discovery.

The book represents a period of the Maronite history while resisting the Mamluks during their campaign in 1283. The book includes 324 outstanding photos representing the results obtained from the various discoveries. The outcome of the findings is 293, including bodies which were preserved for 5 years after being withdrawn from the grotto. The book highlights therefore these unique archeological treasures, including mummified bodies, luxurious cloth, coins, ceramic, weapons, written letters, etc.
